LinkedIn Company page news…

LinkedIn Company Page message button

I am definitely at fault for not using my LinkedIn Company page… what about you? But this could be a game-changer… you can now add a ’message’ button to the banner of your LinkedIn Company Page.

By clicking on the ‘Message’ button, members can message the Page by pre-selecting a list of topics to message about. The messages from members will be sent to a new admin inbox, accessible from the Page admin view and your personal inbox. I think this is great!

To enable messages for your Page:

  1. Go to your Page admin view.

  2. Click Inbox in the left menu.

  3. Click the More icon to the right of Inbox.

  4. Select Inbox settings from the dropdown menu.

  5. Turn on the Message button toggle on the right.

  6. Select at least two conversation topics.

  7. Click Save in the upper-right corner.

To send a message to a LinkedIn Page

  1. Find the organisation’s Page.

  2. Click the Message button. If you don’t see the Message button, the Page might not have messaging turned on.

  3. Select a topic from the Conversation topic dropdown menu.

  4. Click Write a message... and enter your message.

  5. Click the Send message button.

I think I’m going to use my Company page a bit more and see what results I get, what about you? Let me know how you get on!

Note: Messaging isn’t available for all Pages yet but will gradually be made available to all.
